About Newcastle College
With origins tracing back to 1854, Newcastle-under-Lyme College was formally established In 1966, moving to its purpose-built campus on Knutton Lane in January 2010.
In November 2016, the College entered a transformative new chapter by merging with Stafford College to form Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG).
Situated close to Newcastle town centre on Knutton Lane, the campus combines state-of-the-art vocational, technical and academic facilities with vibrant learning spaces designed around the student experience.
The Performing Arts Centre: Home to a purpose-built 200-seat theatre, dance studios, recording suites and rehearsal spaces designed to nurture creative talent.
New for September 2027. Work has already started on a major £13 million capital investment project, backed by £6.8 million from the Department for Education’s Post-16 Capacity Fund, expanding campus facilities to create additional state-of-the-art teaching spaces to accommodate record growth in student numbers and support the region’s evolving skills pipeline.
